This policy explains what personal data PeptideCalc collects, why, and the rights you have over it. PeptideCalc is a free educational tool presented by Alera.
The controller responsible for your data is Alera ("Alera", "we", "us"), operator of PeptideCalc. You can reach us about privacy at youralera@gmail.com.
We only collect what you choose to give us. Specifically:
Our hosting provider may also process standard technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) in server logs, as is normal for any website.
We deliberately do not ask for health conditions, medical history, or any other special-category data (as defined under the GDPR). Please do not send us such information.
We use the information you submit to send you your protocol and reconstitution guide, and to contact you about Alera, including follow-ups and marketing. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box and submitting the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see section 7).
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, acting as our processors:
Some of these providers are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred and processed outside your country, including outside the EEA/UK.
We keep your data until you ask us to delete it, and in any event no longer than 24 months after your last interaction with us, unless we are legally required to keep it longer.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the data we hold about you; correct it; have it erased; restrict or object to its processing; receive a copy (portability); and withdraw your consent at any time. Where the GDPR applies, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

The calculator runs in your browser. It uses your browser's local storage to remember your optional profile (age, sex, weight) on your device, and session storage to remember that you have unlocked results during your visit. This information stays on your device and is not a tracking cookie. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
PeptideCalc is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
